This is a post for people who love long Dupattas.
Elegant long dupattas go well with cotton, tussar and silk salwar kameez. The Maheshwaris and chanderi dupattas add evenmore elegance to the stunning silks and cottons.
Recently, I bought a beautiful Chanderi dupatta from FabIndia to match with a plain suit which was made of tussar silk.
Team these elegant dupattas with plain or not so heavily printed/embroidered salwars. Give those stoles a rest for a while and surprise yourself with these long dupattas.
Available at FabIndia stores. I purchased this for Rs.1299/- Other places to look for handloom dupattas : Kalanjali (Hyderabad), Daaram (Hyderabad) .

Festive dressing...
Come months of October, November the festive season begins. This year it also happens that November month as per Telugu calender is an auspicious month and hence there are lot of muhurats for weddings and other auspicious occasions. Keeping this in mind, the market is flooded with festive and party wear.
Considering weddings and other occasions in the family I went on a shopping spree.
I bought a salwar suit. It is made of netted fabric with silk fabric as lining. Check it out.The yoke has simple and elegant embroidery. The netted fabric makes the dress to be very light and wearable. Usually, the party wear is heavy. I bought this at Mebaz, Hyderabad for Rs.3600/- after a 10% discount. The same stuff is also available in Rangoli(Banjara Hills Rd#2).
If you are in your late 20s and 30s go for this than the gaudy stuff. Its elegant and wearable.
